I was amazed by the natural beauty that surrounded Hotel Ekumal. I felt like I was in my own little oasis with the lush greenery and peaceful atmosphere. The secluded location added to the tranquility and made it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the Riviera Maya. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The food was delicious and freshly prepared, although I wish there were more options for lighter fare. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and I loved the unique light installations. Although the WiFi signal was weak, it was accessible in the communal areas. I highly recommend this hotel for those seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating experience.

I had an amazing stay at Villas Duendes Akumal! The Hippie Dome was a unique and comfortable room with unexpected amenities like air conditioning. The location in the middle of the jungle was truly a paradise, and the staff treated me like family. The pool was refreshing, the food was incredible, and the small pueblo of Akumal was a must-visit with its colorful murals. I can't wait to return to Villas Duendes!
The breakfast option could be improved with an order-ahead system.

During our Christmas stay, we absolutely loved the peaceful and quiet atmosphere of the hotel. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. the staff, especially Diego, were incredibly helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable. the delicious meals prepared by cook Rosie were a delightful treat. We were also excited to hear about the new units being constructed, which we can't wait to see on our next visit.
One drawback during our stay was that the pool was a bit too cold for our liking. we understand that it would be a great amenity to have during the warmer summer months.

I had a fabulous time at this unique hotel nestled in the jungle. The staff were incredibly friendly and spoke English, which made communication easy. The location was remote and offered a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed the swimming pool, which was comfortable and amazing. the lodgings were well-equipped and had a comfortable and nice ambiance.
The limited menu options, especially for those looking for lighter or vegetarian food. Another inconvenience was the lack of reliable internet in the rooms, which made it difficult to stay connected.

Hotels. The swimming pool was comfortable and clean, and we enjoyed lounging by it. The inside of the tent was cozy and the bed was comfortable. Despite being in the middle of the jungle, we felt safe and the staff offered free bikes for us to explore the area. we had a tranquil and enjoyable experience.
The limited menu options, especially for lighter and fruit-based meals. Additionally, the pool could become crowded and noisy with families and kids, which sometimes disrupted the relaxation vibe.
